The conference organisers are pleased to collaborate with the Association of Dance of the African Diaspora.
Following on from the conference proceedings on the 21st, ADAD’s Open Stage will take place from 7:30-9:30 in the Pegg Studio Theatre. The theatre is located in the Bristol University Student Union, Queens Road, BS8 1LN.
Open Stage is ADAD’s regular informal platform for work in progress. We invite artists working with dance of the African Diaspora to present their work in a studio setting to a small audience. The aim of the event is to provide a safe, supportive environment for artists to test out new ideas. The platform is open to artists at any stage of their career, but is particularly useful for emerging choreographers.
The event is open to the public and all conference delegates are encouraged to stop by!
